I had to include this one because it’s a good example of how fallacies spread, survive, and thrive.

Ignoring the title, the article starts with the author’s belief that coffee is bad for you.

“…you will come up with all kinds of reasons to justify its existence. In reality, coffee is not a health promoting habit…”

The post after this one will document some of the benefits of coffee.

This article began to talk about loading your coffee with cream and sugar and the negative effects. Sugar and cream are not coffee.

He mentions chemicals dumped on the coffee. The chemicals are not coffee.

The article does provide some very helpful recommendations about selecting and preparing coffee. Just make sure you don’t swallow his conclusion that coffee is bad for you because it can be contaminated. Then read the next article for the ways coffee is good for you.
