Who else wants to explore strange and challenging research that challenges your beliefs and the limits of what you’re willing to consider?
I saw this article headline, “Michael Mosley: Why I Consumed My Own Blood” and read it before some more mundane but very intriguing articles on health and healing.
When I think about it, I could create a similar headline about collecting and injecting adult stem cells for health, healing, and rejuvenation. Seeking health clues and tonics from our blood isn’t really new.
I’ve never considered consuming my own blood as a partial reason for the creation of the vampire myth. At least, I hope vampires are myth.
Remember this quote from Alice In Wonderland, ”
“I’m just one hundred and one, five months and a day.”
“I can’t believe that!” said Alice.
“Can’t you?” the Queen said in a pitying tone. “Try again: draw a long breath, and shut your eyes.”
Alice laughed. “There’s no use trying,” she said: “one can’t believe impossible things.”
“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
It should be no surprise that our very essential blood with all of its remarkable properties may have benefits we are just beginning to discover how to use.
